Class Act Laurentian Adventure:
A unique experience for Class Act students
Prior to the beginning of fall semester, Class Act students travel to the Laurentian Environmental Center in Britt, MN to participate in a two-day, one-night workshop. The workshop focuses on team building activities and allows students to get to know one another. This Class Act activity counts as a one-credit PE course.
The Laurentian Environmental Center is a public residential educational facility that combines environmental education, leadership training and outdoor skill recreation programs. The Center is located in the Superior National Forest, overlooking Arrowhead Lake.
"Learning to work together"
Activities conducted during the two-day Laurentian stay help prepare Class Act students to work together as a team. Class Act students complete several team projects throughout their two-year degree at Itasca.
"Team-building at its finest"You're invited to apply to become a part of the ICC Class Act team. For further information, contact Chris Chandler at 800-9966-ICC.
