2011 MCAC Northern Division Players of the Week: 

McKenzi Olson was named the Libero Player of the Week for August 29-September 4, 2011. 

Jessica Dvergsten was named the All Around Player of the Week for September 5-September 11, 2011. 

 

Megan Sobtzak was named Setter of the week for September 12-September 19 and Oct. 10- Oct. 17, 2011.

Coaching Staff

Leslie Reed just finished her eleventh season as the Head Women's Volleyball Coach. She has been working hard to make Itasca Volleyball one of the top programs in Minnesota.  She is an alumnus of Itasca Community College and played on the volleyball teams in 1989 and 1990.
Some of Leslie Reed's coaching accomplishments at Itasca include:
2004:  2nd Place MCAC State Volleyball Tournament, Region 13B Runner-up
2005:  2nd Place MCAC State Volleyball Tournament, Region 13B Runner-up
2006:  3rd Place MCAC State Volleyball Tournament,  Region XIIIB Runner-up
2010:  MCAC Northern Division Conference Champions, 4th Place MCAC State Volleyball Tournament, Region 13B Champions, 5th Place NJCAA DIII National Volleyball Tournament
Assistant coach, Kayla Evans, just completed her first season.  She is an alumnus of Itasca and played volleyball for Leslie in 2004 & 2005.

Affiliations
Itasca Community College is a member of the MCAC (Minnesota College Athletic Conference) and NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association) Division III.
The MCAC consists of two divisions (north and south). Itasca is in the Northern Division, which is considered to be one of the best in the country.
