Welcome to ItascaOrientation 2009 - Success Starts Here
The on campus new student orientation session will be held on Monday, August 24, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. Please check your fall class schedule for the session you registered to attend. It will also tell you the location of that session. After the "Let's Chat Session" (at 10:30 a.m.) you will be escorted to an informational session in one of the following three locations: Mullins Gym, Davies Theater or the Library. That will be followed by a picnic lunch on the campus mall and optional computer information sessions and/or a campus tour in the afternoon. Monday classes that meet 4 p.m. or later will be in session. Day time classes will meet starting on Tuesday, August 25. Click here for the 2009 New Student Orientation agenda.
This online orientation program has been developed to support you in your transition to college and to help you succeed at Itasca. By the end of this orientation, you should have a better idea of the programs and services that are offered, as well as what courses you should be enrolling in for the upcoming semester. The following is a list of steps for completing this orientation. If you have any questions either while you are going through the orientation or afterwords, please email iccinfo@itascacc.edu or call Candace Perry at 218-322-2340 / 800-996-6422.
Step 1: Read through the entire orientation.
Step 2: Once you have completed the ICC application process (send your application, high school transcript and $20 application fee to the ICC Records Office), you can make an appointment to attend a Registration Session. The registration sessions are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. To make an appointment, call the Counseling Office at 218-322-2320 or 800-996-6422. At the registration session, students will meet with a counselor or an advisor to plan courses for the current semester.
Step 3: Register for classes. At the end of the registration session, we will help you register for your classes online. Once you have a computer printout of your class schedule, you can go to Room 105, Backes Student Center to get your picture ID.
