StarID

Itasca Community College offers students a full complement of computer services, including modern equipment, a wide variety of software applications, wireless internet, printing, and email / file storage via Microsoft's Live services.  Studnets are issued a StarID which is their single username/password for all Information Technology Services, including:

computer login
access to copiers and printers
wireless access
D2L (online learning platofrm)
eServices (transcripts, grades, registration, etc)

We have six fully equipped computer labs on campus, featuring Windows® compatible computers.  All lab computers are currently running Windows 7,with Microsoft Office 2010, MS Visual Studio, and OpenOffice and web browsers. There are several other course specific software tools installed on lab computers.  We also have several grouping sof computers located in informatl gathering areas for small group work.
