Work Study (Student Employment)

Work-Study is part-time employment to assist students with the financing of their education. Students can earn an hourly wage paid directly to them on a bi-weekly pay schedule. To be eligible for a work-study job, you must receive an award letter from Itasca Community College that lists either "Federal Work Study" or "MN Work Study." If your award letter does not list work study, stop by the Student Services Office to inquire about your eligibility.

Students will earn $8.25 per hour. You are allowed to work approximately 10 hours per week or until your work-study award/allottment has been reached. Upon reaching your maximum work-study award, you may request additional work-study funds; however, if additional funds are not available, you will need to cease working at that time.

You are responsible for finding your own job. Most positions are on-campus, although a few off-campus jobs are available. Contact the supervisor(s) directly to schedule an interview for your desired position. Please be aware not all supervisors/contacts are on campus during the summer months. A listing of open positions is available at the link below.
